This is a request on buying some really old newspapers articles that were in the old Phoenix Gazette and the Arizona Republic.
The articles were probably all published prior to 1996, probably in the range of 1990 to 1996.
Maricopa County Supervisor Tom Rawles claim to fame was that he was the only Maricopa County Supervisor to vote against the Bank One Ballpark.
But despite the fact that Maricopa County Supervisor Tom Rawles voted against building the Bank One Ballpark he was quoted a number of times in the old Phoenix Gazette articles as being favor of Maricopa County building a baseball stadium in Tempe or perhaps the east valley. I suspect he was also quoted in a number of Arizona Republic newspaper articles as being against Maricopa County building a baseball park in Phoenix, but in favor of the baseball park being built in Tempe or the East Valley.
I would like to buy copies of all the back articles that were in the Phoenix Gazette and the Arizona Republic about Maricopa County Supervisor Tom Rawles saying that he was in favor of building a ball park in Tempe. Or at least I would like to buy as many as I can afford.
Can you tell me how I can go about buying these articles? And how much they will cost?
